Matt Granite Hearth – Slabbed
Slabbed granite hearths are suitable for use with solid fuel fires.
Matt granite hearths are an ideal replacement for slate as they are very hard wearing, scratch resistant and difficult to damage in normal use. Matt granite hearths need to be sealed with slate oil.
Available in sizes ranging from 30 x 15 x 2 to 60 x 18 x 2 (select size from the drop down list above); they are boxed and lipped and meet Building Regulations minimum for most fireplace applications. Hearths may have different layouts to the one shown depending on their size.
Depending on your fireplace you may require a tongue to sit behind the hearth, these are an additional £40 for 30″ x 6″ x 20mm or £70 for 30″ x 6″ x 2″ . Hearths are rectangular not T shaped as shown, please order a tongue if you require a T-shaped hearth.
There is also an option for a 60″ x 20″ x ¾” for cutting to size or setting into the floor.
