Victorian Arts & Crafts tiled insert trimmed with brass. The hood depicts a butterfly amongst blackberry vines and a bat in flight on a starry background entwined with ivy. The fire opening is edged with stylised sunbursts. In excellent condition, complete with new back and grate. From a house in Glasgow.
A fabulous set of antique fireplace tiles in the Aesthetic Movement. Alternate flower heads and sprigs set is a trellis style frequently used in William Morris designs. In excellent condition. ARTS017 @ £600 with this insert.
