Outstanding, original Arts and Crafts tiled insert with intricate detail to the hood; on the left, a swallow roosting on a branch below a crescent moon and starry sky. In the centre, a heron wading in a pond, surrounded by wild flowers and reeds. On the right, a wren settling down on an oak branch amongst wild grass.
Complemented by a set of reclaimed, reproduction tiles depicting water lillies and a pair of reed warblers. The tiles show signs of age, with crazing and some damage to the top tile. The tiles are included in the price.
