An unusual Arts & Crafts pine surround with tapered legs and a central brass panel, depicting from left to right; a swallow roosting on a branch below a crescent moon and starry sky. In the centre, a heron wading in a pond, surrounded by wild flowers and reeds. On the right, a wren settling down on an oak branch amongst wild grass.
