Rare antique aesthetic ‘Gold Medal Eagle Grate’. Very unusual tiled grate with brass trim. This fireplace has two large doors each side the fire opening fitted with a set of antique fireplace tiles. Behind each of these tiled doors is a further three doors, the top door remains closed to act as the hood the other two can be used to close the fire when not in use.
Shown with Original Aesthetic Movement tiles; set of ten 6″ x 6″ tiles, cream background with brown detail depicting North, East, West, South on the center two and Water, Air, Earth and Fire on the remaining eight. In excellent condition. Available @ £1000 with this fireplace.
