Slate Hearth – one piece
One piece hearths are suitable for use with gas and electric fires or for ornamental use.
Slate hearths have a matt black finish and require sealing with slate oil. They are not as hard wearing as granite as they scratch/chip more easily.

Available in sizes ranging from 30″ x 15″ x 2″ to 60″ x 18″ x 2″ (select size from the drop down list above); they are boxed and lipped and meet Building Regulations minimum for most fireplace applications.
There is an option for a one piece 60″ x 20″ x ¾” for cutting to size or setting into the floor.
